The brief
What they asked for, and what we built.
What the client wanted
A mark for a watch business that would sit comfortably beside the brands it stocks, work foil-blocked on a box, and avoid the heavy crests most jewellers default to.
- Restraint rather than ornament
- Something that foil-blocks cleanly on packaging
- A circular mark that suits a watch face and a profile picture
What we did
The AW monogram is drawn as a single script stroke that runs out through the containing circle, echoing a watch hand sweeping past the bezel. Gold on navy keeps it legible when foiled.
- Script AW monogram inside a bezel circle
- Gold and navy palette built for foil and embossing
- Light wordmark with a spaced strapline
- Circular crop for profile pictures and dial-style applications
