What the client wanted
A mascot for a gaming channel that looks at home on a stream overlay and a hoodie, with enough menace to be memorable but clean enough to survive being shrunk to a badge.
- Reads at badge size on a stream overlay
- Works on black, which is where it mostly lives
- A shape distinctive enough to recognise cropped
What we did
The scythe blade doubles as the banner that carries the name, so the mascot and the wordmark lock into one silhouette instead of sitting in separate layers.
- Hooded mascot with the scythe blade forming the name banner
- Red outline that holds the shape against a black background
- Simplified badge crop for avatars and overlays
- Layered artwork so the mascot can be used without the banner
